Paymybills.com only costs $9.95 per month. Same as Checkfree direct. Receive ALL bills online; not bad. I wonder how they handle payments to billers not set-up to handle electronic payments? Checkfree can only process 50% electronically after many years of building biller relationships. Must be expensive to receive paper bills, sort, scan and send out email bill. Checkfree does their part electronically and is just starting to reach breakeven/profit.

No advantage to billers who still produce a paper bill and mail it to paymybills.com. Billers also lose marketing opportunities.

Banks taken out of the loop.

I suspect we will see many more variations on the EBPP theme in the coming months. It seems a shame that Checkfree handed banks and billers the best possible option for reducing costs and retaining customers, yet they have been reluctant to hand this service over to them. Instead we see fragmentation, uncertainty and lost time in this market.
