Their irrational exhuberance has paid off again! The maitre d' is jerking at his tie and twirling his moustasche in horror, trying to dissuade some extremely irrationally exhuberant (you're only young once!) floor runners from hoisting a karaoke machine onto a podium; trying, that is, until he notices the beautiful young lady brokers starting to form That Big Boss Line up front the stage. The Lucent Longs are singing doo-wops on the streetcorner Down By The Riverside, happily celebrating LUCENT BREAKS THROUGH IT'S HIGH CEILING!!! AGAIN!! JUST LIKE THEY SAID!! (All Lucent Longs Know What's Meant By AGAIN!!!) Meanwhile, inside at their banquet The Tophats toast Lucent and Each Other with 3 martinis For Such A Risky Call Made Last Week as that 72 LU Target! LU was UP TO 73 1/8 This Morning, and Right Now it's 72 1/4 On Realtime and Whe Be Movin' On Up!! Coughs from around the room from the irrationally exhuberant poh-pohs slamming of each others backs, uh-oh now they're starting to throw olives....LADIES & GENTLEMEN PUH-LEEZE HearHear Let's Not Wear Out Our Welcome sez the CEO so they calm down.
