Barney the procedure scheduled was to have angioplasty (angiagram with baloon) and then insert metal mesh stents where balloons had opened artery. They normally enter the artery in a leg to insert the tube and wire and sometimes enter the arm artery at the elbow. There was no pulse in either leg artery and very little in arms but they finally opened the one in my right arm but all entrances to heart were blocked where forced entry would have meant instant death. Only alternative open heart bypasses which were risky for me because of the aortic prior troubles and loss of limbs. Even if successful promised only life in nursing home which had no appeal.

I plan to live as usual as long as possible and rest assured I am not fretting over dying. I only agreed to try this after refusing to go to the hospital with last two severe attacks. I have survived about four now so all are not fatal.

Besides who would you bug if I was gone. I might just stick around long enough to be victim of your poetry. GGG
