C'mon guys, let's give tree bark its due. Aspirin was originally
discovered in the bark of willow trees.

I've seen too many posts making fun of tree bark cures for cancer. It's worthwhile noting that there IS at least one significant cancer-fighting drug based on an extract of tree bark. No foolin.

Not to support whatever this one was all about; don't know anything about it, but the point is many of our successful drug therapies have natural origins (sheesh! I sound like a naturpath or something!)
