All the many hundreds or thousands of religious wars fought over the centuries were a result of different men making different interpretations of numerous part of the Bible. If you get away from the King James version which uses archaic language and poor translation, if any, it is very easy to take the Bible at face value. If one reads the Bible completely, there is no need for interpretation or "man made" rituals to worship and understand God. TD
