Rocky,

I am by no means a tech-head and I see the need.

1) Real-time, back-ups using Quick-sync. Why wait to archive it to a CDRW. I know that I'll forget. I don't see a CDRW being built into a laptop. My Clik! will either be with me or in the slot.

2) Okay so I'm on the road. I want to give someone a copy of a presentation. Am I going to dial in the network via my 56Kbs modem and put the file on a server or email it to him? Given that my colleague has a Clik! (which he will), I just hand him the disk.

3) The elimination of removable storage has not happened and will not happen anytime soon (your buddy Steve Jobs has been trying to get rid of it ever since his neXT venture and tried again with the Imac. The neXT died and one of the most popular add-ons to an Imac is..... a floppy or a Zip). I would much rather have my stuff back-upped and copied (to a clik! or zip preferably)in my hot little hands or in a safe deposit box than on some server.

Travis

40MB serves no real purpose these days, other than for temporary storage of relatively small files.

Oh, but a 48MB CF is totally useful. Right ??

Rockbottom, 40 MB Clik will store all the rat-trap crap that dropped from your so-called mouth onto this thread for the last three years. And if that isn't a giant pile of codswallop, I don't know what is, other than the stuff you dump out the other end. So take your clack and Clik it and bury it in that mound of mangy goo you wiggle around in the fleshy pink middle of your rockhard turd-encrusted head.

No offense, but I hope you don't complain about what might be falsely perceived as a personal attack, because up until now you haven't claimed Rockbottom as your new handle, mind you. Unless that term is an apt description that could only apply to you, whoever you are?

By the way, are you having a nice day? I'm concerned. I'm up a quarter M in the last month, thanks to someone, but not you, since you failed to drive IOM below $4 as fervently promised to your boss.

Regrets, David S.
