To All:

The issue of whether or not VLNC has been added to the index, or when index managers have to balance to the index, or who was selling/buying late/early/middle of the session is largely irrelevant in the grander scheme of things. What is relevant, in my opinion, is the extent to which VLNC is able to make headway in finally being able to produce a product and then selling that product to OEMs. Everything else is just window dressing. At least in my humble opinion.

The WSJ is affiliated with Barrons isn't it. After reading the dis-information in Barrons this year, I wouldn't trust the info coming out of either publication. It's skewed to fit their prespective something like SEC filings. He was probably mis-quoted or only "half-quoted" by the reporter who forgot to enumerate the exceptions to that rule. It would be a burden on a fund to absolutely insist they buy their quota all in a few days, making them pay higher prices because of the influx of sudden buy orders. Doesn't make sense.
