Sounds good to me Greg......Thats what Zevco is doing with their cells.....Batteries provide all the motive power and a small fuel cell keeps the batteries charged.
A small SOFC on gasoline....charging some nickel zinc...nickel iron..or zinc air batteries......I like it!
The Toyota is really pretty complicated. You start out under battery power....at a certain speed or load...the gasoline engine kicks in to help with power....It may be shifting back and forth. Honda just released their hybrid. Uses 1.0 liter engine with a battery to help out when needed.
I like our idea better. GM is testing bus in New York that runs on batteries only but has a small diesel running at constant speed to keep a charge............raisin

Greg. OOPs, your correct it is Frankfurt, and not Stockholm. My geology is not up to snuff these days. Could you confirm that Sept. the 6th is the right date... I feel that this might just be an important day to remember.
