OK, what was amiss? They are still the go-to shipyard, they just made a purchase (HLX) at the optimum time in the industry cycle, they have a substantial backlog, a solid balance sheet, have been one of the best managed companies in the industry this year, and the folks who shorted it last December have lost a half year of profits on their money because it is now about where they shorted it. Now the industry is recovering, and FGI will benefit. Just what was it they were supposed to know? WHAT is amiss?
