I have heard that about pain- same for endurance (allegedly). Which makes sense I suppose, if you have to give birth.

I cannot remember the pain- and I had my last two children naturally. But I do remember saying something like "I'm not going to have anymore kids. Sorry, I can't do this again." And "OW, it hurts Ow Ow OW"- but that was during. Of course I was lucky and I had really short deliveries on the my last two- and I never got so worn out I ever said anything nasty to anyone.

And then there was that incredible high of seeing the new baby. Better than falling in love with an adult, better than anything. Indescribable joy- it's probably chemical, but it still feels good.

Actually having the kids, after birth, makes up for it. And getting them is pretty good, too.;^)
