(COMTEX) B: ADGI Announces its Latin America Telecommunications Netwo
B: ADGI Announces its Latin America Telecommunications Network Expands Into
Brazil

HICKORY, N.C., Jul 8, 1999 (BUSINESS WIRE via COMTEX) --
AmericanDiversified Group, Inc., Hickory, NC (OTC BB:ADGI) announced
today that its Internet telephony affiliate, Global Transmedia
Communications Corporation ("GTCC"), Aventura, FL, has successfully
reached agreement and is expanding its Voice over IP system into
Brazil.

ADGI has been informed by being able to enter this market now there is
significant potential for increasing revenue growth expectations during
the second half of the year and to position its business for
accelerated future growth in market share and revenues in the
foreseeable future.

With its decision to center its telecommunications business through
GTCC and to promote accelerated growth and implementation of its
affiliate's business plans in the South American market, ADGI is taking
advantage of entering these new growing markets early in countries
where there already is significant overseas calling traffic and where
Voice over IP communications have become readily accepted as the next
level of service in telecommunications.

Due to ADGI's decision, GTCC has been able to enter the country of
Brazil significantly ahead of schedule. ADGI's affiliate believes this
head start opportunity will allow it to continue accelerating efforts
to capture market share and possibilities for increasing growth in
revenues and competitive position. ADGI has been informed in the
foreseeable future that the demand for this type of service will
continue to out pace capacity. ADGI believes the size of the Brazilian
market represents its affiliate's largest calling market opportunity to
date.

ADGI has planned these steps to prove its commitment to the future
success of its telecommunications business. ADGI believes the
tremendous cost savings offered by Voice over IP over traditional
calling rates will capture a significant amount of calling volume
worldwide.

GTCNetLink phone-to-phone Voice over IP calling services offers
corporations and individuals the level of service and quality afforded
by the public telephone network at significantly lower calling costs.
Particularly in South America, the differential between the per minute
calling rates charged by the public telephone networks far exceeds the
cost per minute for GTCNetLink.

As it has successfully done during the past year as new countries are
added to the network, ADGI's affiliate is actively negotiating
agreements with local revenue partners. Local revenue partners
supervise GTCNetLink network operations and sell the calling services
to their local customers. Typically, these agreements also call for,
among other terms and conditions, the requirement toprepurchase
specific minimum levels of calling services each month by the local
partner based upon the level of overall long distance and overseas
calling traffic from their respective countries.
