Mike ... got it working ... I'm somewhat embarassed.. Your post clued me in ... I had a misunderstanding re. the "endif" statement. All I had to do was place an "endif" after the "if hasoptions ..." in my original template post, and it would have worked as intended. Thanks a bunch for your help! ... Fred
