Somebody is finally saying something about Willamette, and it ain't pretty. fullon3d.com FullOn3D: Can you tell us the specifications of Williamette and when it will be released? Intel: Willamette will be a IA-32 product targeted for the desktop, to be launched in late 00 or early 01. It will have a new microarchitecture and we are targeting speeds of 1 GHz and above. Looks like Athlon will be in the race by itself until at least year 2001. Richard
