I've been on the VSE for 45 years now.
It's not a case of whether you will lose your money or not it's more like How many times will you do it before you smarten up???

I guess you didn't notice the post that I made somewhere giving the latest definition of insanity?? It's when you keep doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

It's important to follow successful, greedy, and capable promoters. Interesting program on CBC at 7 pm tonight in the series "Life and Times" to-day was "The Dealmaker", Jim Pattison. Peter Newman the writer told an interesting little story about interviewing Jim while walking through an airport. As they passed a row of pay phones Pattison flipped all the returned coin things to check for quarters.
When Newman questioned him his response was " it's a habit, I always do it, my first job as a kid was a bellboy in a hotel and I made more from the phones than I did from tips.
This guy is over 70 and came from the wrong side of the tracks in small town sask. His last published net worth was about 1.5 Billion US. His companies are Private and he owns the whole kit & caboodle. Sales last year were about 4 billion and his personal profit about 400 million, and he's still picking up quarters. He now owns more than 140 companies and reviews between 5 and 10 ata time on a steady basis.

Makes him a good guy to have on the team IMO even if he does intend to take a profit as who doesn't
