Yes it's an announcement regarding DDSDRAM.

A competitior to RDRAM.

Geez, I understood that there was no competitior to Rambus!!!

Oh well....who knows why all these DRAM folks are producing DDR memory when nobody will want it.

These parts are aimed at specialist embedded applications. A 2M x 32 chip could be used as the only memory chip in such an application, with a 32 bit processor.

Little relevance here to the PC market, but these do compete with RMBS in the embedded market.
