"As ye sew, so shall ye reap"

I couldn't agree with you more. I'm very long on NEON, have been for some time. At first, I was extremely angry with the vulchers,(referred
to as attorney's by some <g>) that pounced mercilessly on NEON.

But, after reflecting for a day, IMO, it was the complete dearth of information in their statement that opened the door for such action.
Was there insider selling this last quarter? Yeah. Could they have avoided being attacked? IMO, yeah. All they had to say was "the deals
are not closed, YET> .....or the deals aren't closed, because they are not going to close."

Right now, a lot of people, myself for one, are sitting around wondering:"Have they lost the IBM connection? Have they been spending
money on acquisitions like a drunken sailor with no regard to preserving or enhancing shareholder value? If the Y2K problem is behind the delay, does that mean this will get worse from now until
1/1/2000? What is the status of outstanding contracts? Has NEON been told NO or are the deals still pending?" The quarter ended 8 days ago. No NEON announcements on any new deals I've seen on news items.

I'm certainly not saying these things to drive the stock down. I'm long the stuff! (Really long, for me.) But, as a shareholder I must take management's handling of this matter to task. They have cost
us owners of the company $$$$ regardless. The vagueness of the initial press release caused litigation. Win, Lose or settle, litigation is expensive. Not only in money paid out, but the adverse publicity
doesn't do a darned thing to attract buyers, IMO.

C'mon NEON! When I'm buying something as simple as a book from Amazon,
I'm accorded the courtesy of an e-mail letting me know the status of my order & if/when I can expect my order to be filled. Is it asking too much to keep us owners, who have a heckuva lot more on the line than the price of a book, equally informed on order status?! And,
IF you relied on your legal counsel as to how you worded your press release, can them!!!!! IMO, They got your butt sued & your owners ain't happy!

Regards,

Doug
