I was talking to a friend today who has just returned from Japan. He is involved in the garbage industry (very low tech stuff). He says the buzz on Playstation is enormous, with billboards and all of Sony's muscle seemingly behind the launch. Everyone wants one and the demos of the system are standing room only. I had not heard that the hype was this big. Good news for all of us.
