Anyway, I can't believe that you can have SOOOOOO many clients for
SOOOOO many years of SOOOOOO many flagrant abuses, and not have
them shut down much earlier. Something doesn't add up - BWDIK.

Well. Yes.

Another real story. Some years ago I was working with a banking corporation. There was a rogue customer trader who did the following:

-For 7 years he "invested" the monies of his clients purportedly in bonds and stock markets. The clients got quarterly statements on paper with letterheads and stamped and signed by bank officials.
Nothing happened all the years. One time the trader went on holidays but his substitute sent out confirmations produced by the mainframe, rather than the trader, and on another occasion a larger client wanted to withdrew monies. The substitute found the account empty.
Too bad that that client was a friend of the chairman. After that incident nothing was to hide. The trader had bilked nearly $4M but admitted to have lost most of it on international futures markets.

Do you believe qu. statements? I do, and I haven't been robbed yet.
