I'd look into its CD-R, CD-RW capability, though.

Agreed..as soon as I get a better handle on the other (Adaptec) cd capable products I have. I have a few CD data storage options now and just have to sort thru them and decide what to use when and how.

$49.95 retail and bundled with seagate tape products isn't very expensive. They do suck on upgrades. The software is robust and highly recommended....
