Christopher, thank you for your reply. It would be easier if there were a formula, but I can see why it would not be feasible. So, then alimony would, in certain cases, be much needed and advised. Many women are under the incorrect impression that "alimony" doesn't exist any longer, therefore they accept whatever is offered. I, for one, have found out that one has to fight fiercely to attain fairness. This may not be so for other ladies, but for me it has been a reality. Thank you again for the much needed information.
