A comet's orbital path is very easily determinable by sequential observations. There are hundreds of scientists around the world who can (and many likely have) calculate with accuracy the orbit of this high-profile comet. So JPL is gonna say black is white, to fool us all as part of a government coverup? Are British, Argentine, Indian, and Chinese, and worldwide amateur astronomers in on this ruse too, all agreeing not to blow JPL's cover? OR are the tabloids and fringies having a field day with a crackpot rumor? You decide, but remember JPL also denied that an alien spacecraft was following behind Hale-Bopp. The tabloids, and a bunch of famous (and now dead) fringies claimed otherwise. John
