Service by 2001....$640 billion dollar industry.... 2. DELL currently makes how much in service..... :o) 3. Now let's assume that DELL knows just a tad about VIRTUAL INTEGRATION..... :O) :O) :O) 4. Is the future of EVERY BUSINESS in e-commerce....well, if they wish to survive it is...oooh, I forgot about the lemonaid stand Andy and I set up in 56... :o) 5...DELL "sells" information with the service....the PC business OUT OF BOX just expanded into the domains of the IBM's of the world... 6. Question Steve: Who has been dealing DIRECT with the consumer and suppliers for umpteen years?? Who would you BUY your PC's ...Servers....Data ....Workstations.....Notebooks from?? 7. The culture of DELL will eventually pervade into the service end of the business....DELL will eat market share from the others in this huge revenue opportunity.... $100 billion in sales in five years...IMO "underestimate and then overachieve" :o) BUY DELL FOR SERVICE SOON.....
