Prophet--My opinion. Stock valuations are highly subjective. To a large extent value is created in the market place. For a stock like Q, this is especially true--it has very solid fundamentals. At the same time it has all those aspects that have the potential to excite potential buyers--for example, a 6 year old cah illustrate the stock w/ a set of color crayons. Soooo, what the market may be willing to pay can be most any thing.

Interesting From YAHOO--Haven't checked the No's, but value has been created in the marketplace by recent addition to S&P.

What will happen to QCOM after being added to the S&P500? How high will it go?

On June 22nd, the last 3 companies (NTAP,BBY,VMC) were announced that they
would be added to the S&P 500.

Since June 22nd or a little over 2 weeks:
NTAP has gone from 44.8125 to 59.875 or 33.6%
BBY has gone from 60.75 to 77.5 or 27.6%
VMC has gone from 42.6875 to 48.25 or 13.0%

Average return for the 3 stocks over 2 weeks is 24.7%

If QCOM is average, it should get 24.7% over the next 2 weeks. From 142.25,
QCOM should move to 177. However, QCOM might also get an added boost from
awesome earnings and another split.

200 seems to be a safe bet for July. It'll be fun finding out how high it will go.
