Honorable Orin Hatch,

Tobacco companies and their customers have paid their fair share of taxes over the years. The Engle case in Miami has held "big tobacco" accountable for choices made by individuals. If I choose to smoke, then I am responsible for my behavior, not the tobacco companies.
Price hikes on cigarettes will lead to a black market- it already has in Miami- and will ultimately be destructive. Sure, tobacco is a leading preventable cause of death, but we shouldn't mandate how one should live their life. Please help us balance order with liberty, as our individual freedom is at stake here.
