I, too, think Voltaire's post was funny but I like and watch CNBC. It's entertainment and frankly the other stuff is too dry for me. (Bloomberg etc.) I don't think the problem is who's on. It's who's not. There doesn't seem to be anyone on the channel who really understands the internet, its significance, the companies involved with e-commerce, what they do/make and their potential. Everyone seems to be of a 1980s frame of mind when boxmakers were the up and coming thing. I think they all resort to valuation criticisms and the like because no one on the channel really gets it. They need another talking head on who really gets it and brings analysts and money managers on who get it too. Either that or another channel is going to steal their market. (Watch for Fox to do something soon.)
