just recognized that altavista.com's got the capability to answer complete questions. didn't know they had a similar functionality to askjeeves.com.

is that a new feature? just curious.

Its been there from the start and what made altavista unique. DEC and CPQ just didn't know what to do with it. Askjeeves is a johnny-come-lately that, in my experience, is terrible compared to altavista (and most other seach engines).
