I'm puzzled by most of the SI posts. My understanding is that there have been huge management changes at SGI. The expense structure has been slashed. NT boxes are out the door, and selling. There will be a new Cobalt in the fall. O2 is updated. There is a rational MIPS roadmap. The MIPS spinoff has gone very well. Balance sheet is bullet proof. The ilk of Yahoo and eBay are working, but show the need for servers that are up and scale.

Reminders of the past are important, but looking forward at discounted free cash flow should be the effort.

I think someone who posts that he will sell when he breaks even, is instructing us about psychology of how ordinary 'investors' behave. It would seem to me that a buy or sell decision would be related to company performance, not market price judged against personal wishes.
