ITEC Introduces CheckMate Monitor-to-Printer Color Matching SystemFor Printer And Copier Manufacturers

SAN DIEGO, June 9 /PRNewswire/ -- CheckMate(TM), a new monitor-to-printer color matching system that automatically allows users to view on their monitor the actual, true colors of an image prior to printing, is being introduced to the OEM marketplace by Imaging Technologies Corporation (Nasdaq: ITEC).

The CheckMate software system allows printer and copier manufacturers the opportunity to add value to their devices by offering a user-friendly color matching solution. CheckMate incorporates ITEC's award-winning ColorBlind Technology in a virtually seamless system that is ICC compatible. ICC compatibility has now been standardized on Windows 98 and above as well as the MAC OS.

"Printer and copier manufacturers have been seeking a simple way for their customers to match screen to print," said Richard Stabile, ITEC Vice President of Business Development. "The technology that we are introducing to the marketplace is the only ICC compatible system of its kind."

At the heart of the CheckMate monitor-to-printer color matching system is a version of ColorBlind(R) Prove it! color monitor calibration software coupled with an ICC profile in one simple and ready to use package. "We are very optimistic about the acceptance of this system by major printer and copier manufacturers," Stabile said.
