Manipulation, yes, short squeeze, no. POS is too big and liquid to pull off a short squeeze. Crank up the PR machine, place a few orders at key points, shake weak shorts, excite dumb bulls, etc.

GizzardLips was just on again and this time she reported the ML comments a bit more objectively and noted the bad items.

myth, i think bill is trying to explain the inexplicable. come on. $38 to $48? on 50 mil + shares? a short squeeze? wtf? what are they scared of? mu's inventory is worthless? their inventory is 10 weeks instead of 8? pricing is too low? mu will lose on 50 cents next q?

none of these ought to strike fear in a short for a $12 bil company. fido might be straight buying. that is what is inexplicable.
