TexasDude...

There have been several extreme statements on this board in the past week or so. I would not judge one poster by one sentence in any of their posts. And, I'm just certain that, while you're quoting folks, you've checked out some of Pluvia's "additions" to this board. Or, God forbid, has that been part of the "chatter" you've enjoyed?

Barron's does tend toward the "right-wing" portion of stocks... very conservative. I've been a subscriber for ten years. Sometimes, their featured analysts get it right... However, they have missed MANY, MANY opportunities in The New Economy. Or, to be kind, let's say they've been late to several terrific parties. On balance, I don't believe that Barron's has been particularly sage in its prognostications. But, the publication is well-edited, interesting,
thorough, and first-rate. Which is why I subscribe.

I agree, by the way, that there many other places to put your money without "all the side issues." But, just in my opinion, there are few that present the kind of opportunity horizon that WAVX offers. The risks, as has been noted by longs on numerous occasions, are very high. Less than they were seven months ago, before various funding and "enhancing the supply chain" deals, but still high. If your risk-tolerance isn't set on "Extreme," then WAVX clearly isn't for you.

However, there are few times in an investor's history when he or she can participate in a company that COULD change the landscape... by moving security to the client side (a fundamental shift... the importance of which was illustrated, for example, in yesterday's NYT article about DSL in-security)... providing hardware and peripherals makers of all stripes "sustainable revenues" long after one of their products is sold or incorporated by an OEM... and moving all manner of digital content in a secure, fast (inTelecast), and copyright protected way.

Note: I said COULD change the landscape. Almost every one of the regulars around here--and I don't count yet--will condition their remarks with a COULD or MAY. So much for what Anthony's gang calls
our "Kool-Aid"... an ironic reference considering the source.

Unlike you, TexasDude, I have not enjoyed the "chatter." At times, it has been venal... and hugely deceptive.

Good luck with your investments,
