OT-- Thanks for your list Downsouth-- just back from travel.

<<OT: The next big kids--have a look at JDSU, PMCS, CNXT, QCOM.>>

You are correct, most of these have run 4-5 fold in the past year, or since their IPO. Many are in the 6-8 billion market cap area too (mid-cap), where I typically like to hunt (or just before then, in the 2-3 bil market cap area).

Congrats to those getting in early. Meanwhile, I guess one of the points I was trying to make to the other fellow was that at a marketcap of 10 billion, NOVL was still a good value, with P/E for next year (Oct00) only around 38! It will earn around 56 cents this year (oct99), 75 cents next year, and the growth path of their directory services (ZEN applications) and caching software (revenues) projections are said to be very strong over next 3+ years by industry write-ups. This is a unique infrastructure network and internet (intra-, extra-, eCommerce etc) management software solutions player, with the original NOS team of engineers still in Provo, but revitalized with Eric Schmidt, Bill Joy on their BOD, and Mike Sheridan from SUNW joining NOVL last year too. I just sense that NOVL has the capability to move into the 40-50 billion market cap over the next 2-3 years, along with revenue growth from 1.2 bil annually, to 5+ billion. But, you know where my chips have been for a while, and all IMHO. =;-) I've also bought some CY in early May around $11 range as a turnaround semi, with strong upside potential over next year+ timeframe, with P/E only 18 for next years earnings projection. So far, so good. Regards and thanks again for some additional ideas! QuadK
