Jules, great post and I also agree that the other (main) IDTC thread
is getting too filled with personal attacks that take up bandwidth and
also make it difficult to read the key posts at this very critical
time.

From Bull-Market.com report

COMMENT: There has been some negative press on IDT Corp. (IDTC) lately and we
have discovered that it is Herb Greenberg, a writer for the San Francisco
Chronicle and TheStreet.com (TSCM). Here are the titles of his articles that
were printed last week: "Has IDT Been Making Loans to a Company That Doesn't
Technically Exist?" and "Is Culture as Important as Fundamentals at IDT?"
We do not want to take much time on this because we think it is mostly hogwash.
Greenberg had a column to write and he decided to write two of them and pick on
this company. This firm is doing VERY WELL, thank you. We have a daughter in
Paris this month and we are calling her for 12 cents a minute, using IDT's
services. We haven't seen anybody better. So there. We liked them at $28 and
we like them even more at $22 (up 10% on Friday.) Look at their revenues - they
are growing like a weed. Greenberg's fabrications about insider shenanigans are
not very disturbing when you get to the bottom of it, just upsetting for the
short term and sensationalistic. Fundamentally, they should have no bearing on
the future success of the company.

Jules and all who are upset at Herb and company.....you should thank Street.Com for bringing up the matter regardless of timing.

You are caught up with this IPO and how the article might affect IDTC stock price. A 20% drop on that day could have just been profit taking, technical trends etc.. or somebody just wanting to unload a handful...just happened that the article jumped start the sell off that was already in the making. isn't it funny that the stock did not rebound the full amount once Alex Brown disclosed that there was nothing to worry about. Goes to show that it was more than just the Herb article.

We should all be thankful for any investigation that leads to even a slight "suspicion" but that is corrected by another source. At the least, it might wake us up and tell us not to put all of our eggs in one basket.

Sleep tight. IDTC is heading towards $30 regardless of the $25 million.
