Year-To-Date Dvd Sales Reach One Million CEMA Expects Explosive Sales to Continue, Predicts 3 Million in Sales by Year's End Arlington, VA, June 25, 1999 - Sales of the new video playback technology of choice, Digital Versatile Disc (DVD), reached 1 million units this week, according to numbers released today by the Consumer Electronics Manufacturers Association (CEMA).
