Hi Carolyn, I just ran over to MSPG news and a tread looky, they're in talks with other Co.'s over possible combos to increase content so an analyst meeting's been cancelled (news) and tread gossip sez Anything Is Possible. Probly will be a pop of some sort on that one, from talk alone, and from that it'd be one to have to watch real close
for signs of a fizzle, I'd say.
Yep the Hillary Thread...I've seen it. Last I looked, some flamers were on there, jerks were writing about probably all the women would vote for her, etc. Joisey and NY have many issues together, and if Hillary won it'd affect us somewhat. IMHO Guiliani has proven himself to be very capable; NYC looks better and feels safer than I can remember it ever being before. For a few years before he took over, going over there was to go to a surreal place where The Wild West of yore had met the slums of Calcutta.Real scary. It's still scary, but so much better than it was. I don't pay much attention to politics in areas where I have no vote, so really all I know about Giuliani or NYC politics is what's before my eyes, so assuming whoever's in charge of it can take the credit and deserves to go higher if he wants to is all I really know about it. Not even getting into who Hillary is, IMHO it's more natural when a successful incumbent rises beyond a position within the structure than it is to expect someone coming from outside that structure to be quickly successful when they haven't built their personal network of people from experience within.
That's all I know of it, so guessing that if she runs she'll lose.
Yer pal,
Joan
