Re "Pollution killed cattle", This guy Wibo Ludwig is now a murder suspect. He's never been popular in his hometown, and one night some kids were harassing him, turning circles in a pickup truck on his front lawn, when all of sudden somebody shot from the house and killed a teenage girl riding in the back of the truck. A lot of people live on that farm - it's sort of his extended family / religious community - so police don't know who fired the shot, but Ludwig is even more of an unpopular guy now, and this may have derailed his whole environmental movement.
