I was just reading in Discover magazine that stress can Shrink the Hippo tremendously. Major stress; the combat/rambi Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome type. Car accidents, rape, stocks, the usual. Accompanying the article is one of the most incredible pictures of a soldier I have ever seen. I know what did it. To me. Stress and 13 years, on and off, of prednisone.
