David:
I didn't get into ABTE but had an interesting call from the "broker" who was pushing it. He called today and berated me for about 30 minutes. Told me that I could only get yesterday's news via my research and that I should depend on his talents for the future news. He pushed harder and harder and then told me that he played golf last week with the CEO of ABTE and althought he couldn't tell me that he got inside information, he stated "what do you think we talked about on the golf course?"
This guy whose name is Adam Shapiro and who works for the Westin Florida office of Raymond James & Associates, said that I should buy 2000 shares of ABTE from him and just to trust him. Worst case scenereo would be that I lose my entire investment but to someone of my means, that wouldn't change my life.
Finally, after about 30 minutes, he said "I'm tired of being jerked off by you....I've wasted enough time." and he hung up on me.
So David, I didn't get in on ABTE but feel pretty good about it. By the way, I ran a NASD check on Raymond James and their arbitration/complaint record isn't lily white. Adam's response to that was that even Merrill Lynch gets complaints all the time.
If I do buy ABTE, I'll buy online at Scottsdale Securities for a $12.00 commission. His commission special for the opening order was $100.00.
Have a great weekend. Thought everyone would enjoy the story.
