TwoBear: EDO. At first glance, financials still look good for a buy. Haven't a clue why stock may have been moving up sharply. Possibly general consolidation in these 2nd tier companies. This week I took the cash offer for Whittaker (WKR) at $28, an aerospace stock I had mentioned here in '97 and '98. Northrop (NOC) (which I own at higher and lower prices) has also moved up slightly as British Aerospace has announced it is "eager to forge closer ties with U.S. defence firms and welcomed any initiatives from Washington to prompt transatlantic mergers".

(I don't have a position in EDO.)
