I've looked back over the posts and, frankly, have no idea what Eric's objections might be. No one was pushing MCOM at all and the discussion was much more about FA vs. TA, momentum and picking the right stocks for the right purpose. Sounds well within the boundaries of this thread.

Neither the site nor the course focuses that much on candle patterns per se. All of the site illustrations use candles because that's what I use. Many students are very interested in changing over and understanding the formations. But my approach is very simple. I don't spend any time at all looking at Nison or Morris definitions. They're all the same! "This is bearish". "That is bullish". Gee, thanks a lot!

Candle importance is a function of location and relative range (width compared to recent action). Just as with all pattern reading, no two setups are alike.
