frank, i have given some consideration to Gann's work and have
been inspired by Constance Brown's and Kaufman's (systems) write ups

dropping by the bookstore today i thought of a book
i ALMOST bought at a used bookstore in San Francisco
'squares' and picked up a similar book

--one of the most common squares is included in the I CHING

4 9 2 Note: south is on top so western view is 8 1 6
3 5 7 3 5 7
8 1 6 4 9 2

where the formula for odd square creation is
1 in middle of top row
next number in sequence up one and to right
(out of square so on bottom)
next number up one and to right
(out of square so first position, 2nd row)
next number up one to right
(except if it overlays a previous number, then one below)
next three follow the standard sequence of up one and to the right

the eastern version of the square is the 'universal' view

i believe that gann's work had to do with numeracy and cosmology
and vibration, hence his use of different size 'squares'
including other forms (triangle, hexagram etc...) for number placement

now the question is what is applicable?

so we look at a ticker determine if it is in growth phase
and take the square associated with growth and 'forecast' from there?
similarly, take the decay square when it is going down and forecast?

i believe that vibration changes and one square can't predict 'forever'
so being 'in tune' with market, and intermarket influences is a factor
for determining the tool to use
bwthdik

any other thoughts, suggestions or criticisms are most welcome
regards,
ynot :)

Hi Frank, and wouldn't you know it but we got a commodity bull market in grains on our hands. Wheat had a big old run the past few days.
