This was the 10th consecutive higher close for the stock. I can't recall anything like this happening. I wonder if someone knows something about the Intel CC on Tuesday.

Best Trading,
X

Actually, I just found the updated source

worldvillage.org

There is no longer any sort of scholarly atrribution to even suggest that the numbers are meaningful.

Note that the "village" is now presumed to be made up of 1000 people, and they are still presumed to have only 1 computer. The sources of information are vague...

Another tidbit:

Under "life in Town":

335 of the adults are illiterate.

But under "Education/Computers":

200 people can not read.

Hard to take something seriously when the data is inconsistent, or contradicts prior lists. (Computer ownership dropped from 1% to 1/10% ????

------------

Also, let me correct a statement I made earlier about the US being at most 10% of the world population. Looked it up. More like 4%. So the statement that 6% own 59% of the assets and they all live in the US is just plain ridiculous when confronted with the actual facts...

I wouldn't go around quoting any of this garbage.
