MSFT action has been a bit disappointing the past few days relative to the tech market. I don't think it's stuck, just waiting and consolidating a bit. We've already done 16+ points in the last few weeks. The Nasdaq is making new highs, but not many of the large cap tech are (with the exception of CSCO).

Volume and upward momentum should pick up heavily Monday and Tuesday in expectation of tech earnings lead by INTC. As others have pointed out, MSFT has been getting a boost in late day buying for weeks now. That may still happen today as well.

[Whats up with MSFT? Only a 3/4 point move today? All the techs are making new highs but this one is just stuck]

It's not unusual to stall briefly when it climbs near the all-time high. I believe this is due to the trading patterns of momentum players. Be patient. It's fundamentals will eventually push it over the hump. Then the momentum people jumping back on will push it higher quickly.
