Bob, Pallisard,
Thanks. Browsed over 1000 posts. Viewing multiple posts (10 posts at a time), a new feature in the beta version of SI, helped a great deal.

I got access to a browser abroad and saw the encouraging news releases on Hanil and Alliant sales. Read the SI account of conference calls and the SEC document.

VLNC has made a lot of progress: commissioning of NI production lines and qualifying batteries components, appointment of mgmt team, short term private (equity) financing of $3MM, sales of components and batteries (Hanil, Alliant, etc.), preparations for the fourth line and further production, etc. They are pretty much sticking to the plan.

In spite of this impressive progress, the stock price has not moved up. Speculations of price manipulations are abound. I had pointed out about it a couple of months ago and got into some discussions with mooter775.

Hope the price moves up after the next 10Q.

There is a great expectation of PO's and a magical price jump before the next financing attempt by VLNC. That may not happen, just my opinion. With all said and done, it will be unusual for VLNC to make a separate announcement of PO's. I may be wrong, but my expectation is consistent with VLNC's mode of operation so far, regardless of their reasons.

If PO was the only reason why the stock price has not moved up, how about PO's from Alliant? VLNC must have received PO's from Alliant and Hanil (time + materials) quite sometime ago. Shareholders came to know about their PO's only now (news releases just before the last conf. call). This mode of operation may continue. Just my opinion.

I expect that VLNC will not disclose the $ amount on any of the PO's. The balance sheet info from their SEC reports may be the only source of information available to analysts, as Lev had pointed out long ago.

I hope that VLNC makes an official announcement of "programs" as soon as they reach the final stages with Motorola or Energizer. Also hope that VLNC's announcement is followed by Motorola's (Hanil's or Energizer's) announcements of PO's from end-users like Samsung, Dell, Micron, etc. Hope that Motorola or Energizer discloses the $ amount and the applications. JMO. With much Hope + patience. Ram
