This will be a war of attrition.

I don't see a runaway victory for anybody--nothing along the lines of what AMZN did. I will place a bet on Drugstore.com.

But that is more of a bet on Kleiner Perkins. I suspect this will be a war of attrition, and Drugstore.com, PlanetRx, Soma, Walgreens, and Express Scripts YourPharmacy are all gladiators. But you know my investment thesis: corporate alliances are more important than technological advantages. A recent example is HLTH. I suspect that PILL may have better functioning technology and more customers at present, but HLTH gets the generous market cap.

As a physician, I really don't like what PlanetRx is doing with DTCA. See postings #108 and #109 on this thread. [As some of my friends would say...."Gee Tom, Why don't you tell us what you really think?"]
