Ramsey:

Ron A was the CEO and ultimately bears the responisibility for a series of screw ups. The fact that it seems he does not even know the ship date for their flag ship product is, in itself, enough to get my vote of no confidence.

Just my opinion but Ron's done a good job on guiding this company over the past 5 years. He may be the CEO but it is still Fidlers company and he ultimately calls the shots. If every software CEO is fired or severly reprimanded for missing a product release date we'd have a lot of rotating CEO's. Look at Mr. Softie. Even INTC is missing with coppermine.

On the selling alternative I agree it puts a downside but it may be lower than you think. It all depends on the financials and competition. Don't write MSFT off. It can purchase technology to enter this space if CE is not the right product.

Remember INTU. MSFT offered $80 3 or is it now 4 years ago but the FTC nixed the deal. Well INTU is now above $80 but what would the value be with MSFT's stock. 3 splits and its over $90.

Just some comments.
