Second, I think e-payers will also offer e-presentment... we seem to differ on the market opportunities available in the meantime. I agree most people would like to do it all from their bank... and to move all the billing information I don't think would be very hard. According to BancOne's program, they take care of it all. I don't think it would be that much of a nightmare unless it gets to be like the long distance telephone vendor switching that people go through. I am confused by your statement, "The fact is MCI never really saw this cost savings because the payments weren't tied to a invoice number..." I thought all payments had to accompanied by an invoice number. When my phone bill is paid, I would think they are including my invoice number and customer ID. No?
