RDM,
Integer is what really matters for most people. Unless Integer is the
same for both items compared. However, if floating point is 30% faster,
the chip is not much more expensive and the system costs a lot anyway,
then maybe. . .

You are not going to pay more for less, or course except to get the
critical Intel name brand. Pentium sounds cool! '....

I just find it an 180 degree reversal that Intel would have to resort to touting Integer performance after that lived off the FPU for many years...
After all, the M-II has great Integer performance but wouldn't sell because Intel demeaned its FPU performance. Now the with the K7, the shoe is on zee utter' foot. Rather pathetic that Intel will have to now take the low raod...tout the Integer and the fact you don't need the MHZ for todays apps. Something we knew all along...
