Don't know if there is any relationship, but there has been a rather great deal of insider selling.

RE: risk of going under. I suppose if the company operates at a loss long enough, anything is possible. I have been trading ECO off and on since the early 80's.

The reason I'm in it now is for a Y2K play on gold.

I expect to be patient. I will hold my long until the last trading day of the year if necessary.
