Convention is the word you want. It is not objectivity. Fail at objectivity and prepare - eventually - to have your head handed to you - in the market and in life, figuratively speaking.

On the other hand, follow convention and run with the crowd and your conclusion arguably is accurate.

Confuse the two: objectivity versus convention at your peril.
