Tip, I see zero downside if the IFC is decent. But, heck, I use Prodigy Internet and they have a deal like that, so guess where I'm getting my next pc? <g> I didn't like Compuserve when I tried it and I've heard the Gateway ISP is awful, so I suppose that is the risk. If you can never connect, or, can't stay connected, and the internet is your thing, it is not such a good deal.

So, two years from now you're using a slow dial-up connection while everyone else has DSL and every website in the world is downloading more bytes than even the makers of Office 2000 dreamed of. Things change too fast to lock in anything for that long a time.
